Clayton has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing Translation from the University of Arkansas. He specialized in Arabic to English literary translation, publishing short stories in Banipal #49 and Banipal #53.
Clayton has over 10 years of experience in Arabic (including legal, medical, and literary translation), Arabic language acquisition coaching, and cross-cultural teams.
Clayton lived and worked in the Middle East and North Africa for seven years, and he continues to lead a remote Data Engineering team in Tunisia for a U.S. based company.
